"It gives more representation to people in smaller states," Gordillo said, as @ Martha MacCallum pushed back, noting that the House of Representatives is population-based to ensure equal representation.

The DSA's platform is also calling for:
— eliminating checks and balances
— granting amnesty to all immigrants
— abolishing the War Department
— passage of a Green New Deal
— establish a wealth tax
— replacing the presidency and Supreme Court with a new executive and judiciary subordinate to and chosen by Congress
— a 32-hour work week with no reduction in pay or benefits

光是看到名稱裡的Equity就知道實際上很不平等了，該法案聲稱要『消弭數位落差』，確保所有美國社群（特別是弱勢群體）都能獲得平等的數位機會，但問題是法案中將『種族與族裔少數群體』列為優先補助對象，所以聯邦法院以該法案的部分條款違反了美國憲法賦予的平等保護原則判定違憲。

這一位自稱被川普政府壓迫而逃離美國的跨性別人士，前往荷蘭尋求政治庇護，卻被安置在荷蘭北部特爾阿佩爾（Ter Apel）庇護中心。這中心主要收容來自穆斯林國家的大量移民，長期以發生暴力事件而聞名

他最近接受荷蘭媒體訪問時表示，他在中心內感到極度不安全，尤其是害怕來自阿爾及利亞和摩洛哥背景的居民，因為他們明確指出這些LGBTQ人士應該被毆打，導致他連走路去超市都感到危險

他坦承自己的心理健康因為環境而急劇惡化，並後悔當初的決定，想要離開荷蘭。但他同時也承認美國的情況也不理想，但和在特爾阿佩爾面臨的暴力威脅相比，美國的處境反而顯得可以忍受

以後誰覺得被川普政府「壓迫」而選擇逃離美國的人，不妨考慮荷蘭的庇護中心
