Haswell-E 是不是沒有超執行緒 ?

記者翻譯的水準問題
原文: With Haswell-E, Intel will do away with 4-core configurations of these GPU-less dies and offer users a choice of 6 and 8 core CPUs, with up to 20 MB of L3 cache. Of course, Hyper Threading isn’t going anywhere giving the CPU a maximum of 16 logical cores. 還記得Haswell發佈時，有提到C7 state，另外還有TB3.0可以針對每個核心單獨調節(包含GPU),實測C6/C7開啟時待機能降低3W的功耗 同時也有提到，當多核心時開啟C6/C7時,會視情況關閉整個快取 但是HT技術的邏輯核心會造成L3快取沒辦法全關，所以這個功能預設是關閉的 算是老問題吧! 只是以前沒有這麼重視節能 另外新加入的乘法加法混合運算也有一些錯誤，浮點會算錯 由於Haswell-E是多核心環境，intel打算從演算法上改進分支預測，還有在任務排程上做修正 等這個Bug修正後就會8 cores with HT |
