總長度太長了，而且還要外加變壓器，比v5 5500還狠，
但是他們不做顯示卡，顯示日後滿街蟑螂卡的盛況又要重現了...
本來還希望說晶片外放後，3dfx還可以保有一點自己品牌的產品說，
畢竟只有這樣他們才能保證產品的品質.....

其實 我覺得各樣也沒有不好

所以voodoo5始終不能提高占有率
nvidia的卡才會到處都是
也許他們這樣做 會造成一樣蟑螂卡效應
不過 總是會有一兩張好的卡出來
我們要的只是他的晶片
pcb及layout只要消費者願意花多一點錢去買好一點的估思初的就不會有大問題了
這也是為什麼elsa的mx始終仍在4000多的價位
而一些奇奇怪怪公司出的卡已經快破3000了的原因...
大家總部希望voodoo倒店
然後gpu市場變成像cpu之前一樣intel一家獨大吧
君不見amd k7系列出了之後intel的發表速度及價格已經有所改善了嗎
p4 1.4g只要台幣18000左右還送128mb rambus
之前128rambus可是接近30000多的天價ㄋ

DDR266只要提高少許成本,因製程基礎相同而售價竟高達
一萬多?我建議用搶的比教快!!是256MB嗎?真不知該不該等DDR266 RAM與 主機板呢....~.~

當年Intel主推RAMBUS的時候
不合理價格一直是大家"ㄍㄧㄠ" 的重點
而現在大家一致看好的
DDR SDRAM PC 2100的128MB一條報價約要16000元右，
PC-2100 256MB的更高達32000元左右，
（不含ECC的版本哦）
DDR SDRAM的製作流程與測試設備都與現在的SDRAM同，成本不會比PC-133的SDRAM貴上幾成，
可是實際售價卻是比SDRAM高上5到6倍.......
唉∼！
還是繼續使用便宜的PC-133 SDRAM吧！

但是~DDR國外報價128MB約150~200美金差不多4500~7000元
SHOPPINGGUIDE報導的IWill也說約15000是太誇張

3dfx To Go On Manufacturing Videocards [8:21 am] Rat
As 3dfx officials have stated during a recent interview, the company is not going to abandon selling its own cards despite the fact that it has just sold its factory in Mexico. Now 3dfx will distribute orders for manufacturing Voodoo videocards on other firms factories. Moreover, 3dfx doesn’t shipping VSA-100 chips to other manufacturers in the near future at all. The only companies that can currently purchase Voodoo3 chips manufactured by 3dfx to develop their own cards are small-scale firms oriented towards the Asian market. In Europe and in America 3dfx will be the only provider of videocards based on chips Voodoo3 or VSA-100.
This way, selling the factory in Mexico is to be regarded now as a way of coining money to carry out future projects, but not as a strategy change. By the way, 3dfx also intends to start developing consoles, PDAs and cell phones. To put it frankly, the gradually sinking company just seems to try every method to stay afloat. Anyway, some of these directions may turn out to be a rescue raft for 3dfx.

當然要像現在128mb 一條1400元可能有點困難.
