depends on the notebook design. some notebook have over-charge protection and some don't.

Dell notebook usually have overcharge protection. when the battery is full, the notebook will stop charging, and the battery become idle mode.

my Sony notebooks (sr7 and GR300) will keep charging all the time. the battery usually die after one year. (hold less than 50% of the charge)

ya.. that's one thing i hate about sony. maybe they can sell more battery this way. :(

however, both my notebook are older models.. i don't know if Sony correct this problem in the new model. maybe someone on the forum can tell us.

小弟是買華碩的nb
但個人習慣...並不會拿著筆電到處跑...所以電池一直都在上面...
也一直充電中.....

就算會影響壽命

避免停電時資料因此一起BYEBYE

呵呵~~小弟也是這樣子使用...
反正電池早晚會壞的,資料比較重要... :agree:
