The Democratic Socialists of America just unveiled a new, radical push to eliminate the Senate, and its co-Chair Gustavo Gordillo is now calling it an "undemocratic institution."

"It gives more representation to people in smaller states," Gordillo said, as @ Martha MacCallum pushed back, noting that the House of Representatives is population-based to ensure equal representation.

The DSA's platform is also calling for:
— eliminating checks and balances
— granting amnesty to all immigrants
— abolishing the War Department
— passage of a Green New Deal
— establish a wealth tax
— replacing the presidency and Supreme Court with a new executive and judiciary subordinate to and chosen by Congress
— a 32-hour work week with no reduction in pay or benefits

光是看到名稱裡的Equity就知道實際上很不平等了，該法案聲稱要『消弭數位落差』，確保所有美國社群（特別是弱勢群體）都能獲得平等的數位機會，但問題是法案中將『種族與族裔少數群體』列為優先補助對象，所以聯邦法院以該法案的部分條款違反了美國憲法賦予的平等保護原則判定違憲。
