https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFtxacUUmZ0 U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer Eric Slover receives the Congressional Medal of Honor 他在發表國情咨文的過程中，向一名參與1月初委內瑞拉突襲行動的陸軍飛行員授予榮譽勳章。 不過頒發一個還不夠，他還頒發了另外一個榮譽勳章： https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cHPGLPp_o5I World War II U.S. Navy Pilot Captain Royce Williams Receives Congressional Medal of Honor 這老兄因為在韓戰期間空戰的超猛表現而獲頒榮譽勳章，當年他被七架米格機圍爐，整場空戰持續長達35分鐘，被認定是美國海軍史上歷時最長的空戰。 但是據說任務內容最後被列為機密，因為當時美國不想承認蘇聯有正式參與韓戰，相關紀錄被迫刪去，他老兄也被迫保密不得跟別人揭露，直到2002年其他相關機密正式解密。好在蘇聯方面保有紀錄，在蘇聯解體後相關的紀錄揭露出來，當年那場空戰他們派七架戰機出去，結果只有一架返航。他的正式紀錄是擊落敵機四架，可能擊傷兩架。 本來他只獲頒海軍十字勳章，但是在相關人士的努力運作之下，他終於獲頒榮譽勳章，也算來得及，因為他老兄今年已經100歲了。 不曉得好萊塢會不會翻拍他的戰績，相信應該會頗有看頭的，某湯姓上校大概也沒這麼猛。
