Passport officers aren't too good at spotting fake photos In the study, 49 passport officers from the Sydney Passport Office were tested on their face-matching abilities. Many were highly experienced, with an average of over eight years among them, and all but three had undergone a special training course on face recognition (which told them, for example, to break the face down into individual features and compare each one). When the officers compared photos to live people, they let fraudulent photos through 14 percent of the time. A few officers did quite well, and some even had perfect accuracy. But when the results were broken down, the researchers didn't find any correlation between work experience and matching accuracy. In other words, it seems to be more of an inherent knack than a learned skill. In response to this particular study, the Australian Passport Office now uses facial matching tests during its staff recruitment process. 有興趣的可以去看全文。 |

白人能看成黑人的確太不容易... 不過我常常有朋友因為胖瘦問題而跟證件照片不符的情況... 通常解釋一下就能放行. 假設謝男所持護照上的表哥照片與他有幾分相似然後再解釋一下也許就過了. |

照電影的演法,
那位司機故意露臉, 也故意營造撕票的情況, 讓大家都覺得是他做的, 然後棄屍的屍體臉部無法辨認, 只能靠家屬指認, 或由家屬提供DNA做確認, 其實大老闆偽裝死亡, 屍體是別人, 提供DNA檢體也是跟該屍體有親屬關係, 所以大老闆可以完美失蹤... |
