https://www.foxnews.com/politics/ne...s-leave-scandal Cuomo resignation: New York's last three governors, all Democrats, left office amid scandal 先從Eliot Spitzer說起，他是前檢察總長，州長任期從2007到2008，期間不過14個月左右，因為被揭發曾經在華府**妓，2008年下台。 接任的是副州長David Paterson，從2008年起到2010年做完剩下的任期，但是當他競選連任時因為被指包庇一名襲擊女友的助手，結果黯然退選。 然後就是現在這個庫莫，從2010年一路做到今年，當了2.75屆的州長，現在也被自身的性騷擾醜聞搞到自己辭職。 相較之下，紐約州上一個真的『安全下莊』的州長是共和黨的George Pataki，1994年勝選紐約州州長後，還連任兩屆，到2006年底才卸任。
