It was a relatively surprising move given that Tony Abreu has options and is sharing time at third base with Nomar Garciaparra and Wilson Betemit. Tsao is expected to pitch tonight when countryman Hong-Chih Kuo is the starting pitcher, and if it happens, it will be the first time two Taiwanese players have played in the same major league game. As you can see from this picture, the two friends go wayyyyyy back.
