In memory of ...........
令人震撼的不幸消息，Saint Louis Cardinals的先發投手Darryl Kile今天中午
被人發現在球隊作客Chicago的旅館房間裡逝世了，得年33歲，身後留下二子一女， 以及妻子Flynn。 對許多人，尤其是為數眾多，自90年代初期開始收看大聯盟比賽的台灣球迷而言 ，Kile就像是伴著一起成長的朋友一樣，陪著我們走過漫漫的十年，我們看著他以一 手過人的曲球獨步大聯盟，看著他無所畏懼的挑戰高海跋，看見他在稀薄空氣下英雄 氣短，又看到他穿上赤紅羽翼後浴火重生，然而，這位90年代的曲球之王，就像他擅 長的曲球一般，在還來不及瞬目的同時，倏然在我們視線中消失。 悼念Darryl Kile的猝逝，驚怖於生命的無常，願死者安息，願生者節哀， 也願大家皆能尋得自己生命的意義，於每一分每一秒活得踏實，並把握現有的 一切，好好珍惜它脆弱的存在... 追念這位可敬的球員，也是永遠的朋友，Darryl Kile。

另一位偉大的足球選手....德國英雄 Fritz Walter
DFB mourns for honor captain Fritz Walter 24.06.2002 05:57 Horst Eckel with Fritz Walter The German Football Association (DFB) mourns for its honor team captain Fritz Walter. The world's champion of 1954 died on Monday at the age of 81 years. After information of Michael Novak, press agent of the 1st FC Kaiserslautern, Fritz Walter has "fallen asleep peacefully" in his house in Enkenbach-Alsenborn at 15.15 hours. DFB president Gerhard Mayer-Vorfelder: "With Fritz Walter the German soccer loses one of his great personalities. Its contributions to the team of 1954 which he led as a captain to the World Cup triumph remain unforgotten. The first title win of the DFB choice was a success, which was an important step on the way to the reintegration of Germany into the community of nations far beyond the sporting meaning. Fritz Walters's modest character, his attachment to his country and his love of the 1.FC Kaiserslautern made him a football idol beyound the borders of the "Pfalz" (Palatinate). The DFB mourns for the honor team captain of the national team who always felt connected to the DFB choice." After learning of Fritz Walter's death the DFB has immediately asked the FIFA to be allowed to play the WC quarter-final against the USA in memory of Fritz Walter with black ribbon. Fritz Walter played for the 1. FC Kaiserslautern from 1938 to 1959, alltogether 379 times and scored 306 goal. His international match debut Walter gave 1940 under coach Sepp Herberger against Romania (9-3) and scored three goals at once. Interrupted by the second World War he continued his career in the national football team 1951 successfully against Switzerland in Zurich (13-2). The midfield player altogether played 61 international matches in the dress of the national football team in which he marked 33 goals. Fritz Walter celebrated his greatest triumph at the World Cup in 1954 in Switzerland when he became a soccer legend in the final against Hungary after the Germans won 3-2. In 1958 Walter took also part in the WC final round in Sweden.

LOUIS -- The Cardinals announced plans on Monday to honor pitcher Darryl Kile, who died in his hotel room Saturday in Chicago. The plans include a pregame ceremony Tuesday and a public memorial service at Busch Stadium on Wednesday. The Cardinals will honor Kile with a moment of silence and video tribute prior to Tuesday's game against the Brewers in the first game of a 13-game homestand. The pregame ceremony will begin at at 7 p.m. CT, pushing back the start of the game to appoximately 7:20 p.m. On Wednesday, a public memorial service will be held at Busch Stadium at 12:30 p.m. The service will be conducted by members of Baseball Chapel, and several of Kile's teammates, former teammates and coaches will be featured speakers. Gates to Busch Stadium will open to the public at noon; Wednesday's game against the Brewers still will be at 7:10 p.m. as originally scheduled. For the remainder of the season, the Cardinals will wear a black circular patch on their left sleeve with "DK 57" to represent Kile's initials and uniform number. The United States flag, at half staff in honor of Jack Buck, will remain that way. In lieu of flowers, the Kile family has asked that any memorial contributions be made to Cardinals Care, the team's community foundation. Kile worked through Cardinals Care to sponsor Kile's Kids, in which Kile treated groups of children from the St. Louis area to tickets to Cardinals games and met with the group before the game. Kile also funded PAL (Police Athletic League) Memorial Park, a baseball field for St. Louis area youth.

紅雀有麻煩了，不過30出頭歲的人冠壯動脈有80~90%阻塞
 唉...可惜了一個好投手...

總算有人回了.....
 紅雀隊這兩年都靠Kile才挺進季後賽.... 但是人生有時畢竟比球賽殘酷多了..... 球賽是公平的競爭(韓狗除外) 今天輸了...明天可以再來...... 生命的球季卻不然.......... 相信Kile的投球英姿會永留球迷心中... 也願所有球迷在自己的球季裡都能珍惜認真的完成每一場比賽...

他父親也是這樣死的 40歲 應該是有家族性的疾病 不然也有可能是小時候得過Kawasaki Disease 真是可惜了 Kile是很優秀的投手 順便一提 若網友們或你們的小孩有得過kawasaki disease 也就是川崎氏症的話 要特別注意是否有冠狀動脈的病變喔 |
