韓亞航空Asiana Airlines flight crash lands at San Francisco airport

By Daniel Arkin, Staff Writer, NBC News A Boeing 777 operated by Asiana Airlines crashed while landing at San Francisco International Airport on Saturday, according to Federal Aviation Administration spokesperson Lynn Lunsford. The airplane was coming in from Seoul, South Korea and apparently crashed sometime after touching down on Runway 28. The airline's website states that the Boeing 777 can carry between 246 to 300 passengers. Video footage captured at the scene of the crash appeared to show passengers sliding down inflatable emergency chutes as plumes of black smoke billowed from the silver aircraft. Aerial footage showed responding emergency teams and lines of vehicles surrounding the mangled wing and shredded tail section of the downed airplane. Fire crews stationed on the debris-littered tarmac could be seen spraying a white flame retardant on the flames. The National Transportation Safety Board said it will dispatch a full team to San Francisco. It was unclear if there were any injuries as a result of the crash. 同時也指出無死亡 http://live.foxnews.com/#/1155606219001 BREAKING: Asiana Airlines B777-200ER HL7742 (cn 29171/553) Jet Crash Lands at San Francisco International performing flight OZ-214 from Seoul (South Korea) to San Francisco,CA (USA) with 291 passengers and 12 crew, touched down short of runway 28L impacting the edge separating the runway from the San Francisco Bay while landing on San Francisco's runway 28L at 11:27L (18:27Z), the tail plane, gear and engines separated, the aircraft turned around by around 180 degrees and came to a rest left of the runway facing east. The aircraft burst into flames and burned out, all occupants were able to evacuate the aircraft in time and are alive. There are reports of a number of injuries, mainly burns, the majority of occupants escaped without injuries. Emergency services reported all occupants have been accounted for and are alive. ATC recordings show, the aircraft was on a normal approach and was cleared to land on runway 28L, no emergency services were lined up, all traffic was running normally. During a transmission of tower shouting in the back of the tower is heard, emergency services began to respond, all aircraft on approach were instructed to go around. The airport was closed. United flight 885, waiting for departure at the hold short line threshold 28L, reported people were walking around both runways, there were a number of people near the numbers of runway 28R, obviously survivors. |
