排水量一萬四千五百噸的"驅逐艦"
 這已經相當於巴爾的摩級重巡洋艦的標準排水量了 一戰前的驅逐艦排水量大概才一千噸出頭

這是所謂的陸攻驅逐艦, 主要是對付岸上甚至內陸的目標.
只是美國元老院對 DDG/CG - 1000 很不爽... 希望海軍多建造便宜的 DDG-51 伯克級來彌補戰力缺口

這個Zumwalt級絕對可以列入我心目中最醜陋戰艦的前幾名
