Because panasonic's writers are all oem versions, only have the drive themselves when they are on sale. I bought one(UJDD410, 24x10x40, with JustLink) yesterday, it was a very quiet writer though. The one I bought also comes with cd-burning software Neroburning-Rom. If you want to use clonecd with your cd-rw, then Ricoh or Asus ones might be better choices. There is no information about panasonic's UJDD410 cd-rw at clonecd's hardware database at their website.

as an inexperienced user, the only thing i concern is reliability.
i'll go to the shop some time next week and find out whether the panasonic writer is software included, or actually, ASUS CRW-2410A may be my final option!
