Though this won't satisfy the "new driver release" withdrawals people are starting to have. ATI has released an updated OpenGL patch. This brings it up from 6.13.10.3064 to 6.13.10.3140. The patch was released to fix a bug on levels where snow/fog effects are displayed the screen will display a blue tint. This issue affects RADEON 8500 products when running Soldier of Fortune 2.

To use the update:

1. Ensure that you using one of the following display drivers:

Windows 98/ME - display driver version 4.13.9031
Windows 2000 - display driver version 5.13.01.6071
Windows XP - display driver version 6.13.10.6071

2. Obtain and install the appropriate OpenGL component update.


Windows 98/ME - WME-SOF-OGL-3140-PATCH.EXE

Windows 2000/XP - WXP-W2K-SOF-OGL-3140-PATCH.EXE

I'm sure you'll see it affect all the radeon family cards.
