Hi henessey,
Welocome back this forum!
I am glad to meet you here. I know this website since I was a member of overclocker.com.tw (not far ago it was taken by 3rd Party then I change to this site). At that time I know Taiwan Peoples are friendly and helpful! Your reply further proves my findings!
Pls. don't use ?? "大大" as this make me very unfriendly. Just call me FranXis, OK?!
I will try install your recommended update driver for sblive tomorrow, thanks!
To clear my questions:
Tries & results:
****************on Power DVD XP**********************
With SPDIF bypass "off" in device control of Liveware setting for below:
1. sound can be detected by Yamaha VS 10 normally when clicking 2 or 4 speakers out, whatever format (DTS or AC3) u chosen. But in neither case can the Yamaha "dts" or "DD" light up!
2. no any sound will be heard when u click SPDIF out in the audio setting of Power DVD XP.
With SPDIF bypass "on" in device control, NO sound can be play back by Yamaha!
***************on Win DVD DTS V3.1***********************
With SPDIF bypass "off" in device control of Liveware setting for below:
1. sound can be detected by Yamaha VS 10 normally when clicking 2 or 4 speakers out, whatever format (DTS or AC3) u chosen. But in neither case can the Yamaha "dts" or "DD" light up!
2. ***Sound will be heard ****when u click SPDIF out in the audio setting of WinDVD DTS version, but Yamaha still cannot detect dts hence no "dts" light up!
(when check the sound format info. in WinDVD, it states 16 bits, 48k, 5.1ch)
No sound at all, as with Power DVD, with SPDIF bypass "on" in device control of Liveware checked.
NOTE: SPDIF bypass setting for OEM I/O card and Creative I/O card may be different.
