Don McLean七一年出大碟American Pie，主題曲American Pie是流行榜冠軍作品，
另一首作品Vincent同樣是極受樂迷的推崇。
這是一首Don McLean寫來紀念畫家梵谷的名曲Don McLean在歌中描寫得梵谷極為崇高。
而這首歌就像梵谷的作品般，在世界各地都很受歡迎。

雖說一幅畫能表達的比一千個字還要多，可是畫家借畫布油彩說的話，真正知音，又有幾多？
你筆下的冬意、清風，不就訴盡了我心中的恐懼，黑暗嗎？一片金黃的田野，
