我若是以後有小孩想去外國唸書，我一定是100%支持，家裡有辦法提供就盡量給他們，能拿到獎學金當然很好，若是沒有拿到也沒關係，意願最重要，我的想法是，在國外除了唸書拿學位另一點就是要好好體驗國外，各種不同的人與事，多玩，多參與，比方在學校當老師助理，到公司做實習生，不管大公司或小公司我覺得都滿不錯的，多與人接觸，多認識朋友，至少要把英文學好，好像很多人去國外留學，每天只知埋頭努力唸書，功課都把老外好，但英文只會看但都不敢開口說。

只能說父母想像很好, 現實殘酷....你要當助理, 實習人家要嗎?你要和人家做朋友, 人家要嗎?當你考慮文化差異後, 你會發現並沒有出去唸書如此簡單.
現在已經不是30-40年前了, 資訊都在網上, 到西方取經的必要性早沒有以前重要了. 20年前網速和技術關係多以文字, 感受性也許不好. 現在都進化到影音甚至時串流, 更有臨場感. 除非要用到尖端實驗室器材, 一般人說真的沒必要了. 要實地感受, 可以用打工渡假或海外工作再去即可~~
