找工作比較容易, 來自當地人的競爭較少.
如果要找需要大學學位的工作將會與本土大學生和來自其他國家的移民大學生競爭，所以除非主修與熱門行業相關或學位級別高否則優勢不大.
還有一個問題是美國是否承認學位. 這就是為什麼有很多移民在出生國家是醫生或工程師但在美國只能在餐館或雜貨店工作.

學位一般來說大多會承認，只是你要拿執照的過程很辛苦
還是有不少台灣醫學院畢業的醫師通過執照認定考拿到美國執照在美執業的
我目前也在拚美國執照考，現在也已經將近四年了 還有最後一關要考.....
人在異鄉奮鬥真的是很辛苦的事情
