I remember when I obtained my first PC with an AMD CPU. It was a 1.1 Ghz Thunderbird Gateway desktop, and the CPU took a beating from overclocking out of necessity. I grew up in poverty, and it was the most reliable thing I had. It seemed indestructible, and I built my own liquid cooling system from scratch as an experiment. Since, I've built PCs with AMD CPUs as a cost-effective method to provide good performance computers to my family and friends at an affordable price. With AMD products in my family, I've seen my niece become an aspiring journalist and nephew develop an interest in chemistry. Everyone is always excited to receive the next upgrade, and with each purchase I make, I pass down used components due to the strong backward-compatibility that AMD incorporated into their technology. Seeing Zen come to fruition is exciting, and I will gladly continue to purchase AMD products in the future. We are Team Red. Go, Ryzen!
