代數中，一個數的平方是此數與它的本身相乘所得的乘積，一個元素的平方是此元素與它的本身相乘所得的乘積，記作x2。平方也可視為求指數為2的冪的值。若x是正實數，這個乘積相當於一個邊長為x的正方形的面積；如果x為虛數，則這個乘積為負數。如果x為非虛數的複數，則這個乘積也是複數。

如果實數y = x2，就說y是x的平方；如果同時x是非負數，那麼x就是y的平方根。如果一個整數 n 是某個整數的平方，則稱 n 為一個完全平方數或平方數。有理數的平方一定是有理數，無理數的平方可以是有理數，也可以是無理數。

為啥有人一直說是 -9，是有什麼特別的理論在嗎？
