In Confucian culture, talking about your strengths makes people think you are proud. Almost employers hope employees to be hard working and modesty.
In contrast,Western employers generally look for self confidence and ambition. You are expected to sell yourself.

When we have a job in a foreign country,we must learn about the local culture and understand employers’ expectations.
