In his 7-6 (5), 3-6, 6-4 loss to David Ferrer, the radar gun on Center Court showed one of American Ryan Harrison’s serve measured at an unofficial 152 mph.

“Yeah, I don’t know if that’s accurate or not. I’ve never hit one over 142 before,” Harrison said in his post-match press conference. “I’ll take it.”

Officials later said the 152 recording was erroneous. The actual speed of the serve was 138 mph.
