In Round 1, ties shall be broken in the following order of priority:
1. The winner of head-to-head games between the tied teams;
2. The team with the highest Team's Quality Balance (TQB=(RS/IPO)-(RA/IPD)) in head-to-head games between the tied teams;
3. The team with the highest Earned Runs Team's Quality Balance (ER-TQB=(ERS/IPO)-(ERA/IPD)) in head-to-head games between the tied teams;
4. The team with the highest batting average (AVG) in head-to-head games between the tied teams;
5. Drawing of lots, conducted by WBCI.

如果只比戰績相同的三隊對戰失分，這樣等於荷蘭，韓國，中華戰續相同時，中韓之戰會有如下各項結果:
如果中華對韓國得0分，但只失4分或以下，表示中華共失7分 (3+4)，荷蘭共失 8 分 (0+8)，韓國共失5分 (5+0)，則韓國及中華入八強
1.如果中華對韓國得4分，但失5分，表示中華共失8分 (3+5)，荷蘭共失 8 分 (0+8)，韓國共失9分 (5+4)，則荷蘭與中華入八強。
2.如果中華對韓國得4分，但失6分，表示中華共失9分 (3+6)，荷蘭共失 8 分 (0+8)，韓國共失9分 (5+4)，則荷蘭與韓國入八強(因為荷、韓都有非責失，自責分率會較低)。
3.如果中華對韓國得5分，但失6分，表示中華共失9分 (3+6)，荷蘭共失 8 分 (0+8)，韓國共失10分 (5+5)，則荷蘭與中華入八強。
以此類推，總結:
一、中華勝韓國，中華與荷蘭晉級。
二、中華只要不輸韓國2分(含)以上，就是中華晉級。
三、中華輸韓國2分(含)以上，且中華失分在4分(含)以下，中華與荷蘭晉級。
四、中華輸韓國2分(含)以上，且中華失分在5分(含)以上，韓國與荷蘭晉級
五、中華輸韓國且中華失分在4分(含)以下韓國失分在3分(含)以下，中華與韓國晉級。
