Reading newspaper would be a good start for you, you would made little progress here. There are other alternatives, if you like a certain game, such as world of tanks, go visit the game forum and read on other players' post. You learn english quicker if the topic is of interested or related to you, that is just my thought.

Acutally, forums are the worse place to start
because of the internet English that everyone is using.
Please start with listening to news or read newspaper/books.
Reading magazine is also a good way too
