Some Terratec Cinergy T USB XE units will not work with EyeTV

TerraTec, one of Elgato’s hardware partners, has a number of products available for the PC. One of those is the Cinergy T USB XE, a DVB-T receiver.

The original PC version only supports USB 1.1, and is not compatible with EyeTV on the Macintosh.

The newer USB 2.0 version is compatible with EyeTV, and is now being bundled with EyeTV Lite software by TerraTec. It can also be used with the full EyeTV 2 software, version 2.4.

If you have purchased EyeTV 2 software for your USB 1.1 Cinergy T USB XE, then EyeTV won’t be able to work with it. Please contact the Sales department of Elgato Systems, if you would like a refund for that EyeTV 2 software. We apologize for any confusion this matter may have caused.
