國外網友的反應 似乎狀況又不太好了

.. I was tempted back when DVDImport took over and re-instated the money I had lost as credit. To test the water again I placed an order for a single item (at $44.98 CAD) and then waited.

After a few weeks my order changed status to pending and then stayed that way for over a week before it changed to dispatched. I thought this was a bit odd but was hopeful that my order was now on it's way.

In the meantime I applied for my 50% credit rebate on my order ($22.49) to be refunded back to my credit card. I waited the requested 21 days but the money had not been rebated, so I emailed DVDSoon to ask what was happening. After a week I had had no response, so I mailed again. Another week passed and still no response, so I mailed a third time. Yet again no response.

After 8 weeks of waiting my order had not arrived either, so I decided to mail DVDSoon about this issue as well. As expected there was no response. I tried mailing several more times before giving up and contacting my credit card company who were very helpful and promptly refunded my $44.98.

I still have several hundred dollars of credit with this company but have now given up any hope of getting the money or any goods out of them.

My advice would therefore be to avoid this company, no matter how tempting the offers !

但台灣的發卡銀行可沒這麼好
我曾為了DVDSoon的事情問過玉山銀行
回答只有我要自己去處理因為我已經授權給對方charge我的信用卡
對國外的消費只有被人盜用的情形才有可能要回錢 -- 一般並沒有針對消費問題提供保障

這讓我上了一門課 了解台灣的發卡銀行的態度
我不曉得台灣有沒有一家發卡銀行可以做到上面網友(英國)的服務態度?

Anyway, 還是請大家要小心

ps: 但英國已通過消費者保障條文 國外的信用卡消費並沒有在保障之內
雖然如此 還是有很多英國網友跟信用卡公司charge-back成功
