故事如此
原NB的20G 的硬碟系統是Win 2000，且都在桌上電腦做，對兩個都是2.5" disk，用Ghost做整顆硬碟的 “disk to disk”。
20G(4200rpm) to 40G(7200rpm)，20G 的硬碟是分割成C partition 、D partition；40G 的硬碟是全新未formate。
Ghost2k3&Ghost8.2在DOS顯示 “There is no valid source Drive to choose(11032)”；一直顯示“Question(1801) Bad block(s) encountered on read-continue anyway?”、“Question(1815) Ignore subsequent bad blocks?”， 最後成功要做disk to disk時顯示 “Read sector failure… ”。
或在Windows下也不成功，好像是Marking無法消除的關係

在桌上電腦以多接了兩顆方式要做Ghost的硬碟時：看不到各別這兩顆、只看到主硬碟；而且顯示：
Marking these drives as usable by Ghost will ensure that they are optimized for your imaging task. Not markig these drives is only advisable when creating forensic qulity images。
Mark these drives as usable in Ghost? (下面是三個選項，千萬不要選mark！)
OK、Cancle、Continue without marking drives
因為我選了Marking之後，source drive都搞亂了；Ghost8.2(DOS)自己都搞亂使得無法完整的把一個Ghost一壓縮系統檔從D partition Ghost回去到C partition，當Ghost回去到約93％時就中止並告知「Error-36000-internal inconsistency…」「Error-10008-unexpected end of file…」；而且20 G容量變成50G(用PartitionMagic8.0&spfdisk看都是變大)、解決方法使用「PowerQuest PartitionMagic8.0」的「Resize a partition」對 “Extended”檔、押一下就自動歸正；此外D partition資料有亂碼或消失等；然後再嘗試把一個Ghost壓縮系統檔從D partition Ghost回去到C partition(已經過formated)也一樣；把這個Ghost壓縮系統檔Ghost到新硬碟也一樣到約93％時就中止並告知「Error-36000-internal inconsistency…」「Error-10008-unexpected end of file…」。
可以說source硬碟資料全都掛了，因為解鈴還須繫鈴人，應該只有靠Ghost才能解決自身的問題，可是Ghost應該沒自救功能吧！
檢查硬碟沒問題，肯定沒有壞軌、對Ghosts&硬碟掃毒檢查後也都OK。
目前未搞定已放棄，但是繼續研究中，Ghost居然把source硬碟都會搞掛。
