god, i normally don't do this, but heck, here is a piece of my mind.

STOP FLAMING COMPANY(IES) FOR REMARK RAM

when u buy ur video card, on the box does it say what ram it use? (A) or does it say what clock rate it is? (B)

Case A) on the BOX IT DOES NOT SAY it is "200 MHZ" nor does it say it "garanty" of 200MHZ overclock and it does not say "WE USE SAMSUG RAM". u can't blame a compnay for suck indication

in Case B) u can't blame a company who use ram that does not run @ mark rating, example a -5 ns ram on data sheet may say it runs @ 200 mhz, however, when the box does not indecating what clock rate to use, is up to the company to decide what clock rate to use, even force down to 166Mhz, @ 166MHZ they could easily reduce voltage as result of unable to overclock to 200 MHZ, which is very normal, exmaple: i have ASUS GF3 which is same memory as Evga GF3 TI card, however on asus the voltage is higher as result of higher clock rate potetials, on evga on ther other hand is clock lower, due to lower voltage and it lower than the data sheet indicated.

if u are a real overclocker u will modify (aka increase resistance) in order to overclock, also u will pick ram very wisly, most of u guy does not even know that, u pick any card for the price and expect for BBA's clock rate, that is gay and stupid. when i pick card i pick the one that has lowest -ns on ram which most of time is way more expansive than those main stream price.

does anyone even know what REMARK mean??

when a company sign a contract with manufactor, as long as they have agreement on it. is normal, i can sign a contract with Micron, and all my ram will be mark as micron's ram using their serial number, is perfecly normal, exmaple: Corsair Extreme ram, it is label as corsair's ram, however after some remover, it shows is Winbond BH5, this is remark but perfecly legel

same idea, i bought some no name ram, and it has other compnay's print on it, after HEX code it shows is BH5 also, however i was unable to clock as high as corsair ram, why? the resister on the ram is too low, even those BH5 is known high clock rating. what will u guys do? blame the company who made the ram is remake? no! as long as the box or advertise does not say or indicate the rating higher than its opertational is alright

BBA" Build by ati. most of time has higher clock rate

PBA: power by ati, lower rating same chip

i also have PowerColor R8500, it is clock @ 250/200, however BBA is 275/275, even is same ram... i can't overclock to as high as BBA, but after some voltage mod i can go even higher!!!

c'mon, be more knowledgable plz. Taiwanese is a strong and prode Asian, we are not igerant Chinese. open ur eyes, thx

is 3:43 EST, well can't spell so live with it.
