and nowadays. who only run ONE program at a time? without doing anything, windows is running at least 5 program background.

how about this? you can play games and run BT at the same time.
or doing dvd encording and internet at the same time?

the HT let you do more things at the same time and "feel" more smooth. i think that's a great thing. (for normal user)

for example, i do dv editing sometimes, and while it is encording, what should i do? wait there? no. i use internet and check emails. and still within reasonable internet speed.

but, if you just need to run game and want the best fps available, then AMD.
