ya. it was all marketing..
at that time AMD say they were the 1st to reach 1G. and it was a big news.. since intel is alwasy "first" in everything before.
SO... Intel decided to be 1st to reach 2G. so they come up with P4.
and since Intel start to use 3xx, 5xx, 7xx. it's a different story.
i hope, next year, there will be dual core dophen on DT. it will be a super chip.
