i think using computer not only to test how fast it can run ONE program. the overall user experience is also very important. the P4 with HT is MUCH more smoother to use than AMD processer. (maybe that's why amd are planning on dual core cpu, then after intel know it, intel junp on dual core, too)

for AMD user, just try to run prime and encording dvd file. AND at the same time, using internet to view news. and see how do you feel?

and try that on P4 with HT.
