Required Software

To run all the tests in PCMark04 and in order to receive scores, the system should have the following software installed:

Microsoft Windows 2000 or XP operating system. The HDD tests run on Windows XP only.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 installed, for Web Browsing test and SystemInfo (download).
Microsoft Media Player 9 (download)
Microsoft Media Encoder 9 (download)
DirectX 9.0 or higher runtime (download)
Required Hardware

PCMark04 package requires approx. 60MB of Hard Disk space.
HDD tests (Pro version only) require additional 130MB of Hard Disk space.
The 3D tests require a fully DirectX 7 compliant hardware.
