They called me this morning and said that the 60GB they used is by randomly - some will get 4200rpm and some will get 5400rpm.
I don't believe them. The cost gap is about US$10-15. Why could they randomly use 2 spec.?
But I also think, if Dell give me a 5400rpm, the performance may not be what I expect - because I prefer 5K80 but they might use Hitachi's DK23 or Fujitsu's model.
And, compare to 40GB 5400rpm, I think 60GB 4200rpm is okay since the density is 30GB/disc.
Maybe I will accept this 4200rpm 60GB and ask for some cash refund.
