How to set up a Counter-strike server for Retail version(stand alone version)
I want to set up a server that can run counter strike at home and we can play the game togeter. but when I run the hlds.exe(I think that is the file to run a server), I will give me a error message. ???

I try to create a server on the "net game", but I can't find the server IP. :C

Can anyone help me about this, Thank you very much...

anyone has a counter-strike server at home, leave your server IP, I will go and play there....

guys, you can reply me in CHINESE, I just don't have a program that can type Chinese character.

Post the error message you got.

or goto counter-strike official web site, there have forum about setup server and admin....etc., you can got useful info there.

one probability that you need down another version hlds.exe replace your retail version hlds.exe. original version may have problem on some situation.

BTW, if you can see Tradition Chinese, you can goto GameBase
it also have some useful info, like admin command...etc.
but a little bit slow there.;)
