有人成功過嗎？Aopen2040 upgrade to 2440
 

以下是我在國外網站看到的方法:

Just upgraded my Aopen 2040 FW 1.27 to the 2440 2.02 everything went well, it now actually burns cd's while with the 2040 Firmware it failed 9 out of 10 (platinum 80M, 24/32x).

I took the following approach:

1. download firmware 1.27 for 2040
2. download firmware 2.02 for 2440
3. extract both to the same directory using Winzip
4. start the rflasher
5. select the correct drive, select the 1.27 firmware.
6. press next once.
7. go to explorer and rename the 1.27 firmware to something else (ie.bak)
8. rename the 2.02 to the original 1.27 Firmware name.
9. press next, press start on the firmware flasher.

That's it for now.

Will do proper testing this week, so far I burned 5 CD's approx 600MB each DAO using Nero and all are working fine.

我有成功的更新，在開機畫面可看到2440，系統資訊也可以看到，但是只要一使用它，就會拼命的轉，但始終無法開啟光碟，所以我又把他換回來至2040•
PS 各位網友可試試看，Downgrade to 2040的方法也是跟上面一樣•

Aopen系列最出名的只有16x-->20x的案例，20x-->24x估計不行，又是謠傳啦~~~~~
