DVD Shrink 3.2 error
 

folks, know what's wrong and how to solve it? :confused:
have removed/reinstall DVD Shrink 3.2 many times, also reboot countless times, still show problem.:(
"DVD Shrink encounted an error and can not continue.
Copy protection error."
such problem only happens when read from DVD burner (Sammy 08) directly; if open file from HDD (already ripped), then no problem.
already reinstalled WinXP, still error occurs! :stupefy:

It's been a long time since the latest version of DVD Shrink 32 was released. There are now new kinds of DVD copy protection modes that DVD Shrink 32 surely fails to solve. You may consider using the latest version of AnyDVD along with your DVD Shrink 32 or duplicating your DVD files onto the hard disk with DVD2one 1.52, which can get rid of some structure protection that gives DVD Shrink 32 a hard time. Even if you used DVD2one 1.52 instead of DVD Shrink 32, you still need the latest version of AnyDVD.

Shrink is really a handy tool to copy DVD. :) it run no problem, but don't know why today it has problem when try to backup same protected disc again? :confused:

installed AnyDVD v4.581, but no 'happy' crack. so it will expire soon. :cry:

never tried DVD2one yet. does it offer similar features as Shrink, such as cut unwanted scene, choose audio/subtitle, shrink D9 to fit D5 disc...........?

小弟一直都用shrink來備分，不過最近第一次出現問題，狀況類似樓主。
經查結果是換了擷取來源的DVDROM所致。
之前用的是pioneer116老機子，這機經韌體破解後不須用anydvd破區碼，備分ok。
後來機子老了，老是不吃片(放進片子又退出來，發現解決方法是調一調機上的音量鈕即可)，換了sony dvdrom ddu1162作來源機，可正常擷取(anydvd)，但用intervideo6讀資料夾時程式死當，用shrink備分錯誤，改用116擷取時讀取影片ok，備分ok。

I use same burner, Sammy SAW08H.

for unknown reason, now I can backup again by Shrink. :) really strange??? :confused:

since you know AnyDVD, I think it is not hard to find a crack file to AnyDVD ,
to find a crack , to use AnyDVD happy, no expire.

And you can try another D9->D5 software, such as DVDtoOne ,or elby CloneDVD 2 , and so on.
They are easy to use, do not worry about how to use them,
They all have friendly user interface.

不知道若先用 DVD Decrypter 之類的程式先把萃取出影像檔/或檔案，再用 DVD Shrink 來處理，是否還會遇到同樣問題呢？

dvd-rom沒問題的話就可以，但很浪費時間。

大概是小弟習慣了先把影像檔弄出來，之後修也比較快，所以不覺得這樣太麻煩吧~ :p
