Once when i play DVD(use windvd2000 or pdvd
2.5) and click f:\(my dvd rom---aopen1040),my
screen will display:

"F:\MFC42.DLL have damage,pls re-install it and try again"


p.s sometimes can play.sometimes cannot
using Aopen 1040 pro(1 month old)

download mfc42.dll from http://nikko.simplenet.com/goldentime/mfc42.zip

upzip to windows's system directory.

i can't cover this to c:\windows\system
becoz it said file in use....

i already copy mfc42.dll to winodws\system
but my problem still exist

what should i do then?

i have tried to install a windows98 2nd version into my system,see can it recover any file loss....but failed....problem still exist.......

uninstall both windvd and powerdvd.
reinstall just one of them.

can u add me ?

i already uninstall both and reinstall powerdvd,but problem still here:

f:\shlwapi.dll
damage or lost.....

may be somthing wrong with your harddisk.
do scandisk to check.
