一種舞步複雜的快速歌舞，跳舞時會運用響板和強勁的腳踏動作，在舞蹈中會有急速轉身，和突然停止，並以一隻手彎曲地放於頭上，另一隻手置於胸前。蕭邦興拉威爾曾分別為鋼琴及樂隊寫作這種舞曲。此外，波雷羅亦是一種緩慢而帶有傷感情?#123;的十九世紀古巴音樂。
