BFG Technology（アメリカ）は、ATX12V 2.2/EPS12V 2.91準拠でモジュラーケーブル仕様となる1000W電源ユニット「EX-1000」の出荷を開始した。市場想定売価は200ドル前後とされている。

■+12V 4レールのモジュラーケーブル仕様1000W電源ユニット

　グラフィックスカードなどを積極的に展開するBFGから、1000W電源ユニット「EX-1000」の出荷が開始された。
　80PLUS BRONZE認証を取得するこのモデルは、+12Vレールを4系統（各36A）備えるATX12V 2.2/EPS12V 2.91準拠で、負荷状況に応じて可変する135mmファンを搭載する。なおファンスペック詳細は開示されていないが、回転数は20℃で1000rpm以下、50℃で1500rpm程度と低速回転にて稼働させる事ができるとしている。

　各種ケーブルはモジュラータイプを採用。24pin（20+4pin）x1、4pin CPU 12V x1、8pin CPU 12V x1、6pin PCI-Express x3、8pin PCI-Express x3、4pinペリフェラルx9、FDD x2、SATA x12を備え、マルチグラフィックスにも対応する。

　本体サイズは、150x 165x 86mmで、MTBFは25℃環境で100,000/h、40℃環境で20,000時間とされている。なお搭載コンデンサは日本製を採用する。

去年2010某網拍平台...BxG曾出清其2009年80plus 白牌1000w庫存 29xx元....兩個月熱銷近100盒.

當時2010 8月老張向原廠要貨!! 原廠表示已沒有庫存....市面上的貨是BxG香港庫存....

自2010 10月起整整花了5個月去拜託原廠再生產一批供應國內玩家....

I just had to replace a low amperage 600 watt supply,13A,18A,16A,8A,that was a quality unit,but not enough umf. I run an i7 MOBO with 12 gigs and needed this. It does the job, it was immeadiatly appearent, that there was juice, the SLI began to function. It is quiet, too. 4 rails of 36Amp is nice from this unit.

I purchased this to replace a 650 watt power supply after I discovered my new video card was running it at it's max. This came with a huge number of cables which was very nice. I did have to put an extension on the P1 cable as the 8 pin secondary power cable is bundled with it and I needed more length to reach the plug in on my Tyan S5396 MB. A pleasant surprise was how quiet it runs. I did not realize how noisy my old one was or how much the fan speed had to ramp up to keep it cool until the moaning noise of the fan was gone. I also checked voltage output in the bios and everything was well with in tolerance. Very pleased. I did get this on sale at $135 which I thought was a good price.
