What's new in 7-Zip 25.00:

7-Zip for Windows can now use more than 64 CPU threads for compression
to zip/7z/xz archives and for the 7-Zip benchmark. If there are more than one processor group in Windows (on systems with more than 64 cpu threads), 7-Zip distributes running CPU threads across different processor groups.
bzip2 compression speed was increased by 15-40%.
deflate (zip/gz) compression speed was increased by 1-3%.
improved support for zip, cpio and fat archives.
fixed some bugs and vulnerabilities.



Windows 版 7-Zip 現在可以使用超過 64 個 CPU 執行緒來壓縮 zip/7z/xz 壓縮套件以及進行 7-Zip 基準測試。如果 Windows 系統中有多個處理器組（在 CPU 執行緒超過 64 個的系統上），7-Zip 會將正在執行的 CPU 執行緒指派到不同的處理器組。
bzip2 壓縮速度提升了 15-40%。
deflate (zip/gz) 壓縮速度提升了 1-3%。
改進了對 zip、cpio 和 fat 壓縮包的支援。
修復了一些錯誤和漏洞。

里程碑式的進步…自2000年來首次使用至今…這人真不簡單。
Threadripper可以好好玩了。

我只知道,多年前變成壓縮檔案王者,WINRAR WINZIP幾乎不再有人提起.....但三不五時就有新版本

通常所有的程式一開始都會有 BUG
等 25.1 再說, 暫時無需求就先不動了, 免的中招 :laugh:

WinRAR, WinZip 都是付費軟體，且抓侵權目標是企業。

對個人幾乎無視。（跟 DOS, Windows 一樣，餵毒）

所以不少企業直接採用 7-Zip 省授權費用。

以前曾經傳說9年級生不知道怎麼解壓縮是真的嗎？
現在連給人txt，都經常被對方抱怨不知道怎麼打開

很多吧，現在年輕人手機為主。

老一輩為了玩遊戲，ARJ、ARC、ZIP、LZH、RAR ... 等等都得會。

還沒進入職場，在學生時代就會自己學。

當時連職場都不一定引進電腦作業，後期也大都是套裝軟體慢慢C/S到B/S架構。

工作上也不一定要用到壓縮軟體。（一堆要教，還不想學，都有 UI 介面了）

進入職場一樣跟你說不會 :p
