x86的伺服器,目前應該是有點軟的世界吧


小型x86主機,也不見得要用真的伺服器吧,用i7 Xeon e3頂著先 :D :D :D :D :D

現在不是喊雲端運算?

一般PC用的主機板晶片跟Server等級不一樣，記憶體通道頻寬也不同，別把PC跟Server相比。

Lenovo Group Ltd. (992), the world’s largest maker of personal computers, will buy International Business Machines Corp. (IBM)’s server business for $2.3 billion.

The deal price includes about $2 billion of cash and the rest in Lenovo stock, the companies said in a joint statement today. The purchase of IBM’s x86 server business includes System x, BladeCenter and Flex System blade servers and switches.

他們出售的只是x86的伺服器部門。

他們來有PowerPc伺服器部門；這部門沒聽說要賣。

列出來大多是自己的小孩.. 如果要賣就轟動了

看來Storage沒賣掉 只是變成OEM和RESELLER的關係
