Install Mobileuncle MTK Tools from google play: link
Install FasterGPS from google play: link
Install File Explorer from google play: link
Install File Explorer (Root Add-On) from google play: link

1. ROOT the smartphone.
2. Go to: ftp://epo.mediatek.com
u: epo_alps
p: epo_alps
3. Download "EPO.DAT"
4. Upload "EPO.DAT" to sd card
5. Open File Explorer and copy EPO.DAT from sd card to data/misc (will replace the old file)
6. Delete mtkgps.dat (data/misc)
7. Open FasterGPS and enter your region and country
8. Open Mobileuncle Tools
9. Tap on 'Engineer Mode'
10. Tap on 'Engineer Mode (MTK)'
11. Scroll across to 'Location'
12. Tap on 'Location Based Service'
13. Tap on 'AGPS' and then make sure 'A-GPS On/Off' is checked
14. Tap on 'EPO' and then make sure 'Enable EPO' and 'Auto Download' are checked
15. Tap on 'EPO idle' buton to download the file
16. Swipe down (notification bar) and turn GPS on
17. Hit back and then tap 'YGPS' (you should be under the open sky)
18. Wait until you get position lock (wait 20 min.)

Now your GPS work and phone is rooted.

ps：我的不是用移動叔叔去root, 小米自家有一包小包刷入就root

我現在還可以動的MTK 手機,
一隻 MT6575,一隻MT6577,
都算是3年前的,
現在放棄用來導航,
改用舊高通CPU手機.
這兩隻就用來當音樂撥放器或是其他用途.
