原來阿匹伯本人也是個電腦玩家，聽說他的團隊努力向動視推銷他們的拍攝方案，但是當動視聽到阿匹伯要求他必須對整個作品的製作有完全掌控權時，他們被嚇到了，所以他們決定將翻拍權改賣給派拉蒙公司。
