V=m/s 有沒有人敢寫 速率=公尺 X 頻率 ?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heinrich_Hertz

In 1930 the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) honored Hertz by naming the unit of frequency—one cycle per second—the "hertz".

A cycle per second (cycle/s) is an obsolete unit of frequency. The unit is replaced by the SI unit of frequency hertz

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hertz#History
The hertz is named after the German physicist Heinrich Hertz (1857–1894), who made important scientific contributions to the study of electromagnetism. The name was established by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) in 1930.[6] It was adopted by the General Conference on Weights and Measures (CGPM) (Conférence générale des poids et mesures) in 1960, replacing the previous name for the unit, cycles per second (cps), along with its related multiples, primarily kilocycles per second (kc/s) and megacycles per second (Mc/s), and occasionally kilomegacycles per second (kMc/s). The term cycles per second was largely replaced by hertz by the 1970s.

:think:

Nonetheless, the change is not without its critics, who argue that the hertz should be redefined as simply a renaming of the cycle per second it displaced, rather than as the reciprocal second[citation needed]. Since SI has adopted the radian as its preferred but dimensionless unit of angle, but left its explicit writing discretionary in unit combinations, the radian per second has perhaps a better claim than the cycle per second to being equivalent to the reciprocal second. But the hertz is overwhelmingly (some would say exclusively) used in the sense of cycle per second, and certainly never used in the sense of radian per second.
