System x全系列都出去了還有高階 x86 Server ?

其實當時用AS400的企業通常在財務上不是問題, 但是大嘴巴在AP的支援度上是比較
高的, MIS 或是採購承辦人只要軟(software)硬(VAR)有人頂著, 花老闆的錢樂得輕
鬆.
當時正紅的NetWare也沒學校開課教, 不過硬體的相容性較高, 成本進入門檻低, 當
然如果要求資料庫效能, 那是萬萬不能跟AS400相提並論, btrieve 跟 DB2比? orcale for netware 出生時, NT已經開始鞭打NetWare的屁股了.

專利權與代工是兩碼事！

專利還是IBM所擁有！ ;)

光纖、SAN Storge 以及百萬台佈線技術很難買喔！
