這一切都要追朔到三年多前的某日，在光華閒逛的我偶然發現無敵看板娘這部動作感十足，劇情****迭起，爆點不斷的小品大作。
當年的我剛好剛被派遣到英國任職，手邊帶的只有這套無敵看板娘，魔法老師，以及堪稱朝霧的巫女前傳的妖宿之家，它們也伴隨著我度過第一個獨自在英國的第一個春節。
想不到如今，在三年後的春節前夕，能看到這部作品出版台灣三區代理版的DVD，也因有幸借到二區來進行AB比對，就讓小弟我幫各位稍微比較一下兩個版本間的差異吧。

好了，廢話不多說，開始進入主題吧。

首先是兩份初回限定版附贈的收藏盒，當初看到日版推出仿鬼丸專用提箱的收藏盒後便不斷跟代理商木棉花洗腦的我，終於有幸看到那"理論上應該是"勁道十足鬼丸字樣。（左三區，右二區）：

收藏盒的填充物（第一次看到台灣連填充物的水準都跟日版一樣的）：

看過這些圖後，相信大家一定想問，怎麼台灣的收藏盒這麼小氣，只做日版的一半大呢？
其實原因是因為日版本來是六片單面單層DVD收錄全24話，而木棉花為了讓產品更有買到賺到的超值感，特別將兩片單面單層的內容塞進一片單面雙層的片子中。至於售價，當然要維持在單片DVD的售價，不然怎麼有"超值"的感覺呢？

這時候，想必一定會有朋友開始問，那這麼做不就跟之前的整理盒，或是盒裝套裝意思一樣嗎？
嘿嘿，這部份等看了以下的比較後再下結論吧：

顯然一片收錄的話數比日版多了整整一倍，而且日版採用某質感極佳的白色殼，三區版則採用透明的Amaway空殼。眼尖的朋友們一定會注意到，兩者封面不一樣。難道真的發生缺封面的慘案了嗎？是否該開始集中火力批判木棉花又毀了一部作品的包裝了呢？
心中充滿恐懼的打開DVD盒一看，哈，原來是雙封面。難怪木棉花採用了日版沒用的透明殼。看樣子封面部份是沒問題了。（上三區，下二區)

雖然兩片併一片，但該有的一個都沒少，包括手冊也完整收錄。可是仔細一看，喔？原來日本的限定版有多了一片CD。木棉花是否有拿到該片CD的使用權，該CD中又收錄了什麼樣的內容？這部份就請期待第二片的發售啦。（畢竟好料不能一次就爆完，不然沒爆點（賣點）賣相就差一截了）

比照木社一慣作風，所有影片都湊成單一影像軌，日版則還是一個項目一個檔案。流量部份則半斤八兩。

然後是選單。既然木社把兩張單面單層片湊成一張單面雙層片，"理論上"選單應該不同，各位DVD魔人們應該也準備摩拳擦掌要批鬥選單製作不良的問題了。以下則是二區與三區各自繳出的成績單：

兩版本都沒有看到IVTC不良造成的拉絲現象，也沒有因為流量不足造成的邊緣崩潰的問題。
以畫面本身而言，三區版稍微比二區清晰一點。
