I got a new AMD Athlon XP 1600+ today as well as Epox 8KHA+ and Kingmax PC2400 256MB Ram, everything went well, there is no problems at all, so I downloaded 3D Mark 2000 and ran the benchmarks. WOW!!! 10500, that more 2 times better than my old Duron 750MHz, but do I noticed the difference??? I dont think so. My point is that upgrade to a new CPU is useless if you have above 500MHZ right now, all you need is a new video card and some more ram if you dont have enough before.
